As of 11.59pm on Monday night (September 12), what we know as the traffic light system ends, The Spinoff reports. All mask wearing requirements will be removed, except in healthcare and aged care facilities. Furthermore, all government vaccine mandates will end on September 26 (which is also the public holiday to commemorate the Queen). Not all are happy with the changes, and some experts warn it will be a big and expensive mistake.
