With Māori Language Week just around the corner, Howick Library is hosting a Te Reo Māori for Beginners class on Friday September 16 from 10.30am-11.30am, Times reveals. The FREE session will cover basic Te Reo pronunciation with Whaea Taini Drummond. Maori Language Week (September 12-19) is an annual celebration that aims to inspire New Zealanders to speak the Māori language proudly.
