A local community group recently came together for a tree planting session in Auckland, Stuff reports. More than 25 members of the Hindu Swyamsevak Sangh (HSS) got their spades, slipped on their gumboots and dug right into their mission at Wenderholm Regional Park. The group spent more than four hours digging and planting 300 trees and shrubs on a gently sloping area of the park. The HSS worked on the principles of sanskar (values), sangthan (unity), and sewa (service), and they were pleased to see their youth getting involved.
