Auckland businesses surrounded by City Rail Link (CRL) construction are being denied critical financial support, Newshub reveals, with some owners saying the CRL construction has pushed them to the brink of bankruptcy. Nine months ago a hardship fund was set up for businesses hurt by CRL construction. But 80% of applicants have either been declined or are still awaiting approval, despite some being within 5 meters of the site works.
