If you had to choose just one word to describe Amber and Serena Shine, “extraordinary” would be the most fitting, says NZ Herald. The 30-year-old twins from Auckland’s Waiuku didn’t just run a marathon, they did it on Mount Everest. Since leaving high school and working in the army, the pair have embarked on several adventures of epic proportions. Like the rest of Aucklanders, the twins have found lockdown tough; but when asked where they’ll adventure next: “We’ve realised from all of our travel that New Zealand has some of the most amazing outdoor adventures in the whole world anyway.”
