Manurewa Local Board members have welcomed the news that the raised zebra crossing which was delayed due to funding issues in the wake of Covid-19 will move forward on Clendon Park’s Finlayson Avenue, Auckland Council announces. Auckland Transport expects the work will commence in the next few weeks. The new zebra crossing will be on a raised table at 215 Finlayson Avenue, with additional traffic and side islands that will ensure pedestrians and vulnerable road users have priority when crossing the road.
