The owner of an east Auckland noodle house is facing a long recovery and financial burdens after a January attack by a customer left him suffering a brain injury, Stuff reports. Sambok Vong moved to New Zealand from Cambodia 20 years ago and has been in the restaurant business for more than a decade. After the attack, he had two weeks of treatment for post-traumatic amnesia at Auckland Hospital, before being transferred to a rehabilitation unit, where he slowly learned to walk again over the course of three weeks.
