Auckland Transport’s (AT) board is staying on, Stuff reports, following the resignation of its chair Adrienne Young-Cooper in response to a call from new mayor Wayne Brown for all to resign. “The Auckland Transport Board recognises the requirement to maintain an appointed Board to provide continuity so that AT can operate legally and constitutionally,” it said in a statement on Sunday. Meanwhile, Brown cancelled all media interviews on Sunday.
