Just days out from polls closing, turnout in Auckland is a whisker under the same point in the last Super City election, says The Spinoff, with only 16.7% of votes cast, compared to 17% in 2019. That’s an improvement from last week, but even matching that turnout come Saturday would be a disappointment. It would mean just over one out of three eligible voters had returned their ballot.
