Speed bump, bus stop at Auckland motorway offramp baffle locals

A bus interchange being built by a busy motorway offramp in Auckland is baffling the local community, Stuff reports, and concerns are rising about the possibility of crashes. A number of West Aucklanders voiced their concerns about the placement of the new bus stop on social media, saying the area was busy and it could increase the chances of a pedestrian being hit. A Waka Kotahi spokesperson said the location of the bus stop was selected to align with the express bus network and to limit additional travelling time when exiting the motorway.
