Groundswell members will rally against the Government’s proposed agricultural emissions plan this Thursday, Newshub reveals, in a nationwide protest. “Over 28,000 New Zealanders [have signed] up to protect farming and our rural communities from the Government’s punitive, counterproductive, and unworkable tax on food production,” Groundswell said. The protest called ‘We’re not going to take it’ will begin across Aotearoa at midday on Thursday, with large numbers expected at the four main centres.
