A south Auckland mum says she is too scared to go back to her local shopping centre after she had an imitation gun pointed in her face at a laundromat, Stuff reports. Flat Bush woman Herem Sakaria hasn’t returned to Otara Town Centre’s Blue Sea Laundromat since Sunday when a young man pulled a fake gun on her during an argument. While it all ended without anyone getting hurt, Sakaria is too scared to go back to the town centre as she’s worried she will face reprisals. Her family is also disappointed about how long it took for the police to respond, as an hour elapsed between the first and third calls to police.
