The Government is strengthening laws aimed at stopping people who pose a threat to national security from committing terrorist attacks, Newshub reveals. The changes come in the wake of last year’s LynnMall terror attack in Auckland and the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings. “While no law can ever stop a motivated terrorist from undertaking an attack, these changes will go a long way in preventing, disrupting and limiting their ability to do so,” Justice Minister Kiri Allan said.
