An Auckland lodge that describes itself as New Zealand’s “best outdoor education facility” has taken council and health authorities to court, NZ Herald reports, in a bid to keep youth activities running during an upcoming poisonous bait drop. It’s a move Kokako Lodge owners say is for the sake of the rangatahi’s mental health and comes after attempts to negotiate with Auckland Council failed to resolve the matter.
