Pakuranga United Rugby Club’s U21 Cannons coach Mark Thomas has won the most promising coach award at the 2022 Auckland Rugby Union prizegiving, Times reports. Thomas lead the Cannons to the final picking up the Sir Wilson Whineray Challenge Cup and the Whetton Brothers Trophy on the way. “Thanks to all those awesome people out there who give up their time, energy and passion; for the good of the game we love and for the future generation of club players, rep players and All Blacks,” Thomas said.
