Destiny Church’s leader Brian Tamaki and his wife Hannah have both been issued an infringement notice for a motorway protest earlier this year, RNZ reports. The protest in July saw the Freedoms and Rights Coalition and about 1000 of their followers walking on to Auckland’s Southern Motorway, stopping traffic and clogging nearby suburbs. Newmarket Business Association chief executive Mark Knoff-Thomas said small business owners were left “incredibly frustrated” by the protesters’ actions.
