Auckland Council is on the lookout for 20 summer rangers to join the regional parks team for a three-month paid internship this summer. “This is the perfect summer job for students who see our parks as our greatest taonga and love to help people connect with nature,” says Auckland Council’s Regional Parks Manager Scott De Silva. No two days are the same with summer rangers assisting with educating visitors, weed and pest control, nursery work, track maintenance, and machinery handling.
