Auckland’s communities are still coming to terms with the discovery of two bodies in suitcases left in a south Auckland storage unit, Stuff reports. The children, aged 5 and 10, and believed to be of Asian descent with family in New Zealand and Korea, were understood to have been dead for “a number of years”. The news has shocked community leaders, who have empathised with the Manurewa family who made the grim discovery. Manurewa-Papakura Ward Councillor Angela Dalton said when the time is right, it may be appropriate to hold a blessing or candle lit vigil.
