A homeowner has been ordered to fence his “water feature” after Auckland Council inspectors decided after nearly six months of back-and-forth that it was in fact a pool, Stuff reports. The council determined that, based on its appearance, and the potential height of water being 2cm above the 40cm limit, the structure was a paddling pool. This was despite a 2019 inspection by a senior assessor stating it was a water feature.
