Fog blankets Auckland for fourth day in a week

Twenty-two flights were cancelled and fog restrictions were in place at Auckland Airport until just after 10am on Monday, Stuff reports, after the city was hit with a thick fog for the fourth time in a week. It is quite uncommon for Auckland to experience several days of fog in a row, said MetService meteorologist Stephen Glassey. Forecasters have predicted this will be “one of the coldest weeks of the year”.
