After a three-year hiatus due to Covid restrictions, the Auckland Lantern Festival will return in February at a new venue, Stuff reports. The year of the rabbit will be celebrated across the four-day cultural festival, which will be moved to Manukau Sports Bowl for the first time since the festival began in 2000. The free event is the largest cultural festival in the region and will feature hundreds of handmade lanterns displayed throughout the park.
