Auckland Council has unveiled a new plan to boost Māori and Pasifika businesses in south and West Auckland, Stuff reports. But while the future is unclear for the $60 million ‘Eco-Park’, two Cabinet ministers say it is not dead in the water. Despite missing out on the Government’s May 19 Budget, the scheme was cited by Climate Change Minister James Shaw in a keynote address to the Auckland’s Future, Now conference on Tuesday.
