Aucklanders want exemptions from medium density housing standards

Auckland Council may have found a way around implementing medium density standards imposed by the government, Stuff reports, if it can provide “good evidence” in support. 70% of 7860 submissions from Aucklanders “strongly backed” having an exemption to limit intensification in areas with long-term or significant infrastructure constraints, such as transport, water or wastewater.
