The Salvation Army’s new Kiwi Kai co-op in Clendon, Manurewa, is a fledgling co-operative scheme. Members receive a box of fruit and vegetables every week for $15, plus discounts on other essentials such as eggs and milk. They also receive a raised garden box set-up at their home that comes with a range of seedlings.
