Could this be the birth of a new Auckland suburb?

A new residential suburb for Auckland has been tipped on the site of a 191ha farm that hasn’t been on the market in half a century, OneRoof says. Longburn Farm, at 522 Wainui Road, in Wainui, just south of the Puhoi tunnel, has all the makings of a new residential suburb, says Ryan Johnson, Bayleys’ national director of commercial property. Johnson expects any new owner will look to create lifestyle blocks from it, resulting in one giant new suburb.
