Two Auckland high school students have achieved world-leading results in their annual exams, beating about 700,000 other students, Stuff reports. Justin Yang and Seivin Kim from Avondale College were the top in the world in their Cambridge IGCSE exams – Justin in literature in English, and Seivin in mathematics. The Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is a worldwide exam for 14- to 16-year-olds, and did not offer special considerations for students taking the exams during Auckland’s 2021 lockdown.
