Thousands of Aucklanders with Covid-19 are now eligible to receive a range of funded medicines delivered free to their home, Stuff reveals. Under the scheme, funded by the three Auckland district health boards, patients who are isolating would not need to consult a doctor for a prescription or be required to pay for a range of over-the-counter medicines to treat Covid-19 symptoms. One pharmacist said the move was positive news for the potentially thousands of patients instructed to recover at home – particularly those on a limited income.
