Suzy Cato will take to the stage at the open-air event Opera on the Harbour in February, Newshub reveals, playing the role of Starkeeper in the musical Carousel. The beloved children’s entertainer will make her musical debut in the show opening at Auckland’s Wynyard Wharf on Valentine’s weekend 2022, showing audiences a new side to her as a performer. Cato said the role was an “amazing opportunity” for her to be seen in a different light. The event will be the first of its kind at the Auckland waterfront.
