Hydrogen powered trucks could play a key role as the Government looks to lower emissions from heavy transport, Newsroom reports. Hyundai NZ General Manager Andy Sinclair says heavy trucks make up 4% of our transport fleet but produce 25% of its emissions. The Auckland arrival a few weeks ago of the first hydrogen powered truck, showed the company is serious about the role it thinks hydrogen will play in our heavy transport sector.
