A passion for food and a desire to showcase the diversity of Indian cuisine has resulted in an uplifting documentary for an Auckland film maker, Stuff reports. Curryfication, put together by Aucklander Amit Tripuraneni, will air on TV One on November 6 at 9am. “The reason I made Curryfication was to celebrate immigrant success stories and show that we are integral fabric of this society,” said Tripuraneni, who first came to New Zealand in 2003 to do film studies. Tripuraneni, who has had the best of South Indian and North Indian food from his mother, believes Auckland is now one of the best food locations in the world because of the diversity provided by immigrants.
