A Wilson Parking customer is fuming over the car park company’s inaction, after his car’s tyres were stolen in lockdown, Newsroom reports. Rubens Elling Junior lives in an Auckland apartment and has been paying for a space in Wilson Parking’s Kitchener Street parking garage for four years. But ineffective security has caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to his car after thieves struck twice, despite Junior reporting the security issue after the first theft. Wilson Parking told him 24-hour parking membership did not cover the damages and suggested he send an invoice for repairs to receive a discount.
