Two south Auckland vaccinations centres ran out of Covid-19 vaccines, Stuff reports, leaving pre-booked patients waiting or being turned away. Both the Highbrook and Tamaki vaccination centres ran out of vaccines for a few hours early Tuesday afternoon, the Ministry of Health’s vaccine programme general manager of logistics Ian Costello confirmed. Costella said that people waiting at the vaccination centres were “well looked after” by staff, who provided refreshments. “We’d like to thank people who had to wait for their vaccinations or reschedule their appointments for their patience.’
