Business owners in the Albert St affected by City Rail Link construction have bridged their concern to Labour MP Helen White, Stuff reports. The owners met with White in the Da Vinci Restaurant on Friday to compile a report on their experiences, which will be taken to Transport Minister Michael Wood who is weighing up their plea for financial support. Some businesses have closed their doors permanently due to construction noise, dust, sewer smells and the dismal, shabby passageways left for pedestrians which have driven diners to seek more pleasant places to eat.
