A convoy of tractors from Waikato and Auckland have travelled on State Highway 1 again, this time to deliver fresh produce to Auckland’s City Mission, TVNZ reports. Commercial grower Murray Wymer said Tuesday’s efforts are a continuation of the recent protest, but they also dropped off tonnes of food to those in need. Farmers are protesting over seven key reasons they state as proof of increasing interference from the Government, including its “ute tax” and environmental policies.
