Busloads of Aucklanders who made the trip to Northland in a bid to jump Covid-19 vaccine queues were turned away as they do not live in the region, Stuff reports. Last week, the Northland District Health Board said it would offer the vaccine to all Northlanders aged 50 and over, ignoring more restrictive recommendations from the Ministry of Health. However, Chief Executive Dr Nick Chamberlain said their priority is Northlanders.
