Work on Warkworth’s Mahurangi River wharf restoration will commence next week, Auckland Council announces. Restoration works include removal and replacement of all timber decking, replacement of pine timber, and removal of naming plaques. Weather permitting, the restoration is expected to take between 6-7 weeks, and should be completed before the end of June.
