Pukekohe shoppers should expect changes as Panuku Development Auckland begins trials around the town centre, Auckland Council announces. Starting Tuesday, April 20, the trials will include making the eastern end of King Street and Devon Lane one-way, moves designed to enhance the vibrancy of the town. According to Franklin Local Board chair Andy Baker, the changes will make it safer to walk around the town, create outdoor dining spaces, and see the market move to the square.
