Board members at Auckland District Health Board have received the Covid-19 vaccine before some frontline health workers, Stuff reports. The board members received their first jab on March 31st. Under the Government’s timeline, the current focus of the vaccine programme is on getting jabs to the 57,000 health workers on community frontlines. An Auckland DHB spokesperson has defended board members being vaccinated early, noting it was with the intention “to lead by example and help encourage vaccine uptake by staff.”
