A homicide investigation has been launched following an incident in Pukekohe last week, Newshub reports. Police attended a McNally Road property shortly after 9am on Wednesday to conduct a bail check. A man was found with critical injuries, and police also discovered a woman’s dead body. A post-mortem examination was completed on Thursday, but police are still working at formally identifying the woman. Meanwhile, the man was transported to Middlemore Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
