Exclusive: Commerce Commission investigating possible pyramid schemes targeting Tongans in Auckland

The Commerce Commission is looking into a number of possible pyramid schemes which involve registered companies targeting Tongans in churches, community groups and families across Auckland, TVNZ reports. The Commission has received a number of complaints. It is also believed hundreds of Tongans in Auckland have lost money through a number of schemes with the lure of a big return in a short amount of time.
