Two men who went cruising the streets “looking for crabs” (rival gang members), ended up shooting an innocent, random stranger and killing him, Stuff reports. Samiuela Anania Tupou was shot three times by Leroy Poi Dumars Tinei, 27, and Janeiro Jason Tapusoa, 28, on May 25, 2019. The victim was not a gang member or even affiliated with a gang, and was killed simply because of the blue colour of his clothing. Tinei and Tapusoa were sentenced to life in prison with a minimum non-parole period of 11 years and four months, and 13 years and one month, respectively, when they appeared before Justice Tracey Walker on Wednesday.
