Veteran chef Tony Astle has shut down his popular Parnell restaurant, Antoine’s, NZ Herald reports. The award-winning 47-year-old establishment – which specialised in fine dining using old-fashioned-style silver service – closed its doors two weeks ago. The chef made the announcement on Antoine’s website. Meanwhile, Astle said that the closure was not related to Covid but more of a personal matter.
