Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced that teachers will receive support to make sure they can teach the new history curriculum with confidence, RNZ reports. The assurance was made during a consultation that opened last week, discussing the New Zealand history curriculum to be taught in all schools and kura from 2022. The subject on early battles and migrations will be taught to students up to year 10, while it will be optional from year 11.
