Auckland Live, the company managing the Auckland Town Hall, says no one is banned from its shows – despite its own website stating children under three won’t be allowed in unless the event is promoted as family friendly, Stuff reveals. The Auckland Council-owned organisation has insisted it does not “ban” anyone from its venues and has revised the passage on its website. Director Robbie Macrae said Auckland Live was not responsible for the age limits and did not have age restrictions for any of its venues. Age restrictions were set by external event organisers where appropriate, he added.
