The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has issued a warning to Kiwis considering purchasing cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, as they are high risk and highly volatile assets and are not regulated in New Zealand. Furthermore, says the Herald, people who use cryptocurrencies are often the targets of scams and online frauds.
