Police are seeking a person who shot a firearm into the foyer ceiling of Dr Rudi’s Rooftop Bar, Stuff reports. Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Franich said a group of people had been removed from Dr Rudi’s Rooftop bar in the CBD about 2.45am on Sunday. After a brief altercation, a firearm was discharged into the foyer ceiling above the escalators, Franich said. The owner of the bar on Auckland’s viaduct is grateful no one was injured.
