Auckland high school students have developed Magnifico, Stuff reports – a board game to teach young people about financial literacy. The students, who are all 17, wanted to find a way to teach young students about things like the housing market, rents and loans while implementing their motto “education through fun”. The group’s business teacher, Dorena Deo, said in her 20 years of teaching, the curriculum around financial literacy had not really changed, despite it being an important life skill.
