Every year Aotearoa’s eels make an epic journey to breed in the Pacific Ocean. But eels living in dams need a helping hand, Stuff reports. The eels are then taken to an estuary on the Manukau Harbour, where there’s a good mixture of fresh and salt water, to help them adjust.
