Police say the spate of gang-related shootings in Auckland overnight are frightening for the community, RNZ reports. Police responded to seven shootings on Tuesday night – four of them within an hour – in the suburbs of Ōtara, Papatoetoe, Flat Bush, Papakura, Te Atatū, Henderson and Mt Albert. The people inside the houses not linked to gangs are “absolutely terrified” Superintendent Jill Rogers says. Police believe the Killer Beez and Tribesmen gangs are involved.
