Thirteen thousand children in isolated parts of the globe will have access to Covid-19 vaccine, thanks to the fundraising efforts of an Auckland business, Stuff reports. Auckland tech firm Rush Digital saw the need for vaccine access overseas while helping the Ministry of Health develop the Covid-19 tracer app. “Being inside the technology industry, we have a large workforce. So while New Zealand was enduring a hard, but isolated and safe Covid experience, the rest of the world overseas were living a different experience,” said firm founder, Danushka Abeysuriya.
